			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>While browsing through SEOChat today I came across an article titled &#8220;<a href="http://www.seochat.com/c/a/Website-Marketing-Help/Getting-Creative-with-Content-for-Universal-Search/">Getting Creative with Content for Universal Search</a>&#8221; by Terri Wells.  It is a great read and brings up some interesting information to consider.</p>
<p>A search these days on Google brings up more than just links to websites.  Now it is common to see videos and images mixed into the organic search listing results.  This is known as Universal Search and should be considered during content creation for an effective SEO strategy.  We all have our &#8220;tricks-of-the-trade&#8221; but anchored deep in any SEO strategy is the need for quality content.  After all, &#8220;Content is King!&#8221;  That content used to be paragraph after paragraph of text organized in an easy to find ( spider ) structure.  To a large extent that is still important but now consider what images or videos you may have that will help your rankings for a particular keyword.</p>

<p>In the next 5 years, your cell phone will become your banker, ticket broker, personal shopper, appliance manager and more.  You will be able to connect with our friends in more ways than simple text messaging.  You will be able to involve them into your experiences.  Your phone will be equipped with technology that will allow you to snap a photograph of an item and then search the web for the best prices, comparable products, where to buy them ( both on- and offline ), how to get there, instant purchase options and more.  You will be displayed more photographs of that item, implementation instructions, schematics, chemical makeup, dimensions, weight&#8230;..</p>
<p>When you get home, your phone will be your universal remote, it will dim your lights, close your garage door, turn on your sprinkler system, feed your pets ( via an automatic pet food dispenser of course ), sync to your refrigerator and pantry to take inventory and create a shopping list, order take out ( because after all, your fridge said you were empty ), and allow you to access your answering machine ( duh&#8230;its a phone! ).</p>
<p>Available in the next 5 years?  I hope!</p>

<p>Budweiser has exclusive rights among during the broadcast leaving Coors to scramble for another way to capitalize on the &#8220;big game&#8221;.  Coors Brewing Company is inviting its consumers to submit their user generated content ( VIDEOS ) online to win tickets to the event.  The &#8220;Who Wants it More?&#8221; promotion runs for 5 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl.  Consumers are challenged to create videos demonstrating why they deserve to get tickets to the 2008 Super Bowl.</p>
<p>Users upload their Coors videos to coorslight.com or <a href="http://www.coorsbeer.com">coorsbeer.com</a> along with an entry code that comes from specially marked cans and bottles.  The promotion is advertised through web advertising, point-of-sale, out-of-home, and radio ads.  I&#8217;m not sure the &#8220;entry code&#8221; is a great idea.  Seems like that could conflict with the amount of submissions. </p>
<p>Coors will keep the videos on the site through the promotion period but &#8220;doesn&#8217;t have plans to use the submissions in further advertisements.&#8221;  YEAH RIGHT!  I see another Miller &#8220;Over the top&#8221; Home with Christmas Lights and Rockin&#8217; Music Display coming.  That started out the same way, got viral, and then Miller decided &#8230;&#8221;Hmmmm, this viral video thing might have some worth.&#8221;</p>
<p>Each week Coors is picking a winner.  The weekly winners will then compete head to head I guess&#8230;.why else would there be a weekly winner right? </p>
<p>I think this really has a chance to be a very cost effective yet rewarding campaign for Coors.  Who knows&#8230;.you might get the next &#8220;She Bang She Bang&#8221; dude or &#8220;LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE&#8221; guy.?.   So far the entries are a little weak.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.dyson.co.uk"><img src="http://www.yellowseven.com/temp/dyson.jpg" style="float: right; margin: 0px" /></a>Good design is good design.  When good design mixes with functionality it&#8217;s great design.  A trip through today&#8217;s department stores and you will notice the world of design introduced into more and more household products.  Sleak, shiny, and colorful appliances are now the rage.  Kitchens have appliances that look like something from The Jetson&#8217;s.  Fridges that tell you when to order more food.  <a href="http://www.freshwatersystems.com">Water Filters</a> that tell you when its time to replace them.  And vacuum cleaners that look almost too nice to use. </p>
<p>Take for example this little beauty.  Yeah, it&#8217;s a vacuum cleaner.  Are you kidding me?  Looks very different than that old bulky 80&#8217;s-ish style.  It&#8217;s a Dyson.  Dyson&#8217;s have pretty much become the front runner when it comes to design, functionality and reliability.  Even their website takes design very seriously. </p>

3. Practice the Piano every 3 days.</p>
<p>Its great, you just put in your email and you will get &#8220;semi-regular&#8221; emails reminding you of the the things you need to be doing.  Freakin&#8217; Cool Man!</p>
