Offshore Marketing Firms Do it Better….yeah right!

Filed under: General — jon @ 9:06 am

Browsing through the ‘ole inbox this morning, deleting the obvious SPAM and weekly subscriptions that I never have time to read, and among the clutter, I find the highly sought after “YELLOW7 Contact Form Results” email.  The email that is more important that all other emails.  The email that you just know will say: “Hello, I am so-and-so and I am very interested in giving you money to do…..”  So, it goes without saying that these emails are right up at the top of the “must read” list.

Opening up the email your balloon is quickly deflated as you read who the email is from: DreamDax Team.

Urggggg.  DreamDax must be an offshore “we-do-it-all” firm. How do I know? First sentence: “DreamDax, based in INDIA, develops high-impact web sites at a fraction of the price.”

Wow!  Sounds great…..uh….I mean, “high-impact” and “at a fraction of the price.” Who wouldn’t want that?

But, it gets better! “DreamDax offers personal attention to each and every client and work closely with you to provide a comprehensive Web solution for businesses.”  MAN!  And they do all this comprehensive, personal attention from INDIA.  I can’t wait!

With anticipation, I read on: “We are into Web Designing more than last 5 years and delivered better services to our valuable customers.”

OK, OK.  Surely we can all relate to the difficulties in developing a grammatically correct marketing message.  I’m not worried.  I just want DreamDax to understand my business, my customers, and my message while providing a high-impact solution at a fraction of the price.  I don’t need them to effectively communicate to my target audience, do I?

Well, by now I’m getting a bit apprehensive about my new comprehensive, personal relationship.  But wait!  Looks like they have an offer for me!

“Receive a free copy of the 10 biggest Website Design Mistakes.”

How can #1 not be: “Hire a firm from INDIA to design and develop a comprehensive online marketing strategy.”
